BOISE, Idaho (CBS 2) — Those close to the Boise teen, killed while riding an e-scooter, held a vigil, Thursday night, at the intersection where he was hit by a pick up truck, Sunday.
A group of about 30 people came to the the intersection of Main and 15th Streets.
They brought candles, red and black balloons, a poster for people to write notes on, and a picture of 16-year-old Kyler B. Davis.
Police say there were two 16-year-old boys riding on one e-scooter when they were hit by a pickup truck.
The truck was driving north on 15th and the scooter was heading east on Main.
Both scooter riders were sent to the hospital. Kyler died at Saint Alphonsus and the other boy received non-life threatening injuries.
Family members told CBS 2 News about the GoFundMe set up to help cover funeral costs for Kyler.
They add that they truly appreciate the support from the public during this tough time.
