Back from leading their respective basketball categories to a gold medal at the Paris Olympics, Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo and Las Vegas Ace MVP A’Ja Wilson are back at it again, feeding the rumor mill with another “public display of affection.” This time around Adebayo took to X, to throw a friendly jab at the WNBA star.
A’Ja Wilson had earlier posted a photo on her X account of herself wearing a wrinkled shirt. Before that she had made a statement where she wrote, “Wrinkle white tee for the win.” In response, Bam Adebayo, despite his best efforts not to make it so obvious, came in with the jab, but it was easily decoded by vigilant fans.

Both players would be eager to not let this rumor distract their on-court performance as Adebayo and the Miami Heat are on a quest to do better this season after injuries to key players derailed their playoff run. For Wilson, she’s a contender for the WNBA MVP honors as her team the Las Vegas Aces are fourth on the WNBA overall standings with a 17-9 record.

Prior to Bam Adebayo’s subtle jab at rumored girlfriend, the two had previously been spotted hanging out together in Las Vegas while Team USA were camping for their Olympics preparations. As photos of the beautiful pair emerged online, it caused a frenzy and led to speculations about their relationship status.
There was also another sighting during the Summer games at Paris, but this time around when they were accosted by the cameras, Bamonte appeared to walk away from the scene in an attempt to not make them be seen together. That didn’t help quell the rumors as it didn’t take long before the video became viral on social media.
However, both parties are keeping this to their chest since winning the games, as they’ve neither confirmed nor denied the rumors publicly. But going by things, it may just be more of a mutual respect than what the public wants it to be, however, that hasn’t stopped the fans from talking about them.
